More Routes - More Airlines For EuropebyAir FlightPass Program


PHOENIX – May 20, 2002 – SN-Brussels Airlines, based in based in the European Economic Community's capital city of Brussels, Belgium has joined the $99 EuropebyAir FlightPass program.

Bill Wolf, President of EuropebyAir announced that, "SN-Brussels Airlines allows our FlightPass passengers to fly from Brussels to 33 major cities in Europe. With so many destinations available our passengers can easily, inexpensively and quickly reach the far corners of Europe and the most popular destinations. They can fly one-way or round-trip, they can fly circle patterns around Europe, they can hopscotch or crisscross the Continent on SN-Brussels or any of the other 20 airlines that participate in the program.

The new destinations that are available from Brussels on SN-Brussels Airlines are Berlin, Bilboa, Birmingham, Bologna, Bordeaux, Bristol, Florence, Geneva, Hamburg, Leeds, Lyons, Manchester, Marseille, Munich, Newcastle Oslo, Paris, Prague, Venice and Vienna. Other participating airlines that fly from Brussels and their key destinations are British European to Edinburgh, Croatia to Zagreb, Portugalia to Porto, VLM to London City, Virgin Express to Athens, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Faro, Gothenburg, Lisbon, Madrid, Malaga, Milan, Nice, Rome and Stockholm."

Wolf further stated, "Although Brussels is our key hub we also serve 170 other cities in Europe and our combined airline route network stretches from Ireland to Russia and Portugal to Greece. Airlines participating in the EuropebyAir include Aegean (A3) based in Greece, Aer Arann (RE) in Ireland, Air Lib (IJ) in France, Air Lithuania (TT) in Lithuania, Alpieagles (E8) and AirOne (AP) in Italy, Augsburg (IQ) in Germany, British European (BE) in England, Cirrus (C9) in Germany, Croatia (OU) in Croatia, Estonian (OV) in Estonia, European Air Express (EA) and Eurowings (EW) in Germany, Gandalf (G7) in Italy, Lithuanian (TE) in Lithuania, PGA Portugalia (NI) in Portugal, TTA (6N) and VLM (VG) in the Netherlands, SN-Brussels (SN), Virgin Express (TV) in Belgium and Welcome Air in Austria.

Up until February 15, 2001, SN-Brussels was known as DAT (Delta Air Transport). The name change reflects a symbolic link with the past in that the ex-Sabena logo, i.e. the "S" on the tail of the plane, remains, as well as the use of the "SN" code which was the Sabena/DAT air carrier identification code.
Each FlightPass costs $99 US plus tax. FlightPasses have no blackout dates or extra charges for changing reservations. FlightPasses are valid for 120 days, are non-refundable, non-endorsable and available for sale only outside of Europe.
